Halloween Art with Kobe Design University
A collaboration with the Hironaka Seminar led by Associate Professor Kaoru Hironaka of the Department of Visual Design at Kobe Design University.
Make this a lively Halloween with ECO & GRAFFITI (simple graffiti) art using recycled materials from the hotel, such as broken umbrellas and empty drink bottles.
The works will be on display until Thursday, October 31, 2024. Please come and take a look when you stay at the hotel or use CANVAS Lounge as a cafe or bar.

Mr. Kaoru Hironaka
Born in Kamakura. Graduated from Tama Art University with a major in oil painting (contemporary art course). Works in two studios: Kamakura and Kobe Kitano. Develops artwork in a variety of media, regardless of genre.
Production of two-dimensional works (magazines, advertisements, books, CDs, etc.), three-dimensional works, CG, title logos, characters, stage art, murals, and live painting. Exhibitions held both in Japan and overseas.
In addition, he is engaged in a wide range of activities, including planning exhibitions and workshops.
Member of TIS Tokyo Illustrators Society. Associate professor at Kobe Design University.
