It's the season of "Kawadoko", a summer tradition in Kyoto.
At The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto, you can eat at Takao, which is surrounded by nature and is also known as a famous spot for green maples and Genji fireflies, and at Kyoto's inner parlor, Kibune, where you can fully enjoy the extraordinary. Let me introduce you to the kawadoko that you will enjoy.

[Momijiya (Takao)]
Cross the special suspension bridge over the Kiyotaki River and you'll come to a riverside terrace built over the river.
The cries of the river deer, the fireflies dancing as the sun sets in June, and the Kyoto summer is full of elegance. Momijiya's riverside cuisine allows you to feel nature on your skin and enjoy the coolness with all five senses.
