The Kyoto Architecture Award aims to recognize highly creative architectural works that take into account the historical context of Kyoto, and by publicizing their activities and achievements to society at large, contribute to the further inheritance and development of architecture in Kyoto.
This year marks the 12th time the awards have been held, and The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto won the Excellence Award.
