"City Pop Night", also known as City Po Night, is a party featuring Japanese pop music that started in 2016. It is a J-POP party with a focus on city pop from the 60s to 80s and songs that evoke the image of modern cities.
Based on the keywords "I love Japanese music! Japanese music is fun!", the carefully selected DJs will be performing at large clubs such as Giraffe in Osaka, World in Kyoto, and T2 Nagoya.
Currently, the party is held in various locations, such as Osaka City Po Night and Nagoya City Po Night.

DJ KANBE is a popular DJ who continues to inspire the club scene and has an undeniable presence.
He has played DJ roles in many major cities across Japan.
He made his major debut in 2009 with the album "Next Borderline" and released the original DJ KANBE songs "Shining On" and "snow mark feat. boojp".
DJ KANBE has remixed famous J-POP hit songs by artists such as Kumi Koda and Ami Suzuki, and released them through Avex.

As part of Hikaru Utada's 22nd anniversary project in 2020, the "Spotify Playlist by DJ KANBE" was released on Hikaru Utada's official website, becoming a hot topic.
In 2022, "Shimatani Hitomi - Midnight Door ~STAY WITH ME~ (DJ KANBE & The Funky Cats Remix)", which was released exclusively by HMV Records at the worldwide Record Store Day 2022, will be released on a 7-inch record.
Shimatani Hitomi will appear as a backing DJ as a tour member for the Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka LIVE in 2022.

Outside of clubs, he has also DJed at luxury parties for famous apparel brands such as Louis Vuitton and Burberry, and luxury car brands such as Bentley, McLaren, and Audi, as well as selecting music and DJing at fashion shows, quickly establishing his own style, which is now a standard overseas, in Japan.
He has earned the trust of celebrities and industry professionals invited to his parties, and continues to demonstrate in many ways the unique skills and creativity he has cultivated on the dance floor.

STRANGE RECORD / TRIAD
Born in Gifu Prefecture. Currently active mainly in Nagoya. Influenced by the HipHop he listened to in junior high school, he began working as a DJ in earnest in 2010.
With a focus on Hip Hop and R&B, he plays a variety of genres with his own unique sensibility, and his unconventional DJ style has earned him support from all over.
He is well-known for his pleasant-to-listen-to mixes and stable scratching, and it's easy to see why he has captured the hearts of his audiences.
At the HipHop Party "INFINITY", which he also organizes, he has performed alongside 9th Wonder, Statik Selektah, and Evil Dee.
He has experience DJing not only all over Japan but also in New York, and serves as a back-up DJ at TEN (PitchOddMansion).
He also works as Beat Production ''TRIAD''.

DJ / Event Organizer

Based in Nagoya, he started organizing and DJing in 2010. All Good Music DJ. His Soundcloud mixes, mainly City Pop, have been played over 100,000 times. He is known as a DJ who selects music in a unique way, as he plays all kinds of music and performs at many different genres. Based in Nagoya, he performs at club events and outdoor festivals all over Japan, regardless of genre. He plans and hosts many events, including the club circuit event "New Jack." He also hosts and produces outdoor events.
